Tawanda Chikosi

Founder & Chief Executive

A visionary & multi award winning technology entrepreneur with a passion for solving Africa’s pertinent problems through innovation and technology. In pursuit of his entrepreneurial journey, Tawanda has scooped numerous & prestigious local, regional and international entrepreneurial accolades.

In 2018 he was nominated for the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 as a Zimbabwean Nominee. In 2017 he won The Hague Institute of The Innovating of the Law (HiiL) Southern Africa Justice Innovator of the Year. In the same year, Tawanda represented Zimbabwean innovators in South Korea at the International Telecommunications Union Summit.

In 2016 he was the Zimbabwe Nominee for the World Summit Awards Mobile Creativity With Social Impact Award & President Barack Obama’s 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit Zimbabwean Delegate & Representative.

In 2015 he won the US Department of State Professional Fellows Outstanding Alumni Impact Award in Washington DC, Zimbabwe Young Achievers Technology Awards 2015 Winner, 2013 Zimbabwe Top Young Male ICT Innovator of the Year 2013 1st Runner-Up, 2011 Zimbabwe Top Young Male ICT Innovator of the Year.

Tawanda received entrepreneurial training at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, United States and holds a graduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Zimbabwe, a Certificate in Security Intelligence and a Diploma in Security Management.

Modern Mutumwa

Accounting & Audit Advisory

Modern Mutumwa is the Managing Partner of MJV Chartered Accountants. He has more than 12 years’ experience in auditing, tax and preparation of financial statements in Zimbabwe having been with MJV since inception about half a decade ago.

He trained as an articled clerk with Ernst & Young in Zimbabwe. He is a Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and is also a Registered Public Auditor with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB).

Modern is also a registered Estate Administrator and is capable of handling judicial management and liquidations. He also has an Executive Certificate in Programme and Project Monitoring and Evaluation from the University of Zimbabwe.

He obtained his B Com Honours degree in Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology, BCompt Honours (Accounting) from the University of South Africa.

Moyra Shupie Wendy Mahari

Board Chairperson

Moyra has a combined twenty (20) years of experience in the banking and non profit sector working in projects, procedures, policies and reporting requirements as well as the direct and remote management of projects in Zimbabwe, Sudan, Kurdistan, Turkey and Somalia.

Moyra’s banking experience includes five (5) years with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. She spent some time as the Branch Manager of the Agricultural Development Bank of Zimbabwe where she trained and managed staff from fifty two (52) branches countrywide including the induction of new branch managers, operations managers as well as customer service managers.

Her non-profit experience emanates from working at management level for World Vision Zimbabwe, Catholic Relief Services, Concern Worldwide, Urfa, Sanilurfa, World Vision International, Danish Refugee Council Donors, Swiss Development Cooperation among many others.

Moyra holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, both from the University of Zimbabwe

Isheanesu Marvin Makarau

Founder & Head of Compliance

Isheanesu is a well rounded banking and finance professional with over eight (8) years experience gained from holding various portfolios whilst working for Barclays Bank of Zimbabwe (6) years, Untu Microfinance (1) year, Africa Investment Markets (1) year and is a graduate of the prestigious ABSA (South Africa) Pan Africa Graduate Development Program ran in collaboration with Duke Corporate Education South Africa.

His experience is blended in corporate banking, retail banking, microfinance, business consultancy, research analysis, strategy and performance management. He has an exceptional track record in finance and banking product management, e-banking, performance analytics, corporate relationship management.

Isheanesu holds an MBA from the National University of Science and Technology, Hon- ours in Business Studies from the University of Zimbabwe and several professional certifi- cates in real estate, investment analysis and project management amongst others.
